CALDICOTT PREPARATORY SCHOOL CRICKET TOUR TO SA

Caldicott Preparatory School from the United Kingdom will be sending their first cricket team on a 13-day tour to Cape Town, South Africa. They will be playing against Western Province Prep School, Wynberg Boy’s Junior School, Somerset House, Somerset College, SACS, Bishops and a development side at Langa.

During their stay they will also get a chance to visit Table Mountain, Robben Island and Newlands Rugby and Cricket Stadiums.

KING'S COLLEGE JUNIOR SCHOOL, WIMBLEDON, CRICKET TOUR

King's College Junior School from Wimbledon traveled to South Africa with their U13A cricket team. The tour party consisted of 14 boys and 3 staff. They began their tour in Cape Town where they played against Bridge House, Reddam House and Eversdal Primary School. They then flew to Durban where they played matches against Clifton Prep (Day/Night Match) and Highbury Prep. They got the chance to visit the very popular Hluhluwe Game Reserve for two nights as well as spending a night at the Breakwater Lodge situated at the V&A Waterfront. Sightseeing visits included Robben Island, Table Mountain, Phezulu Cultural Village and Lake St Lucia.

LICEO MILITAR CLUB RUGBY TOUR TO SOUTH AFRICA

Liceo Militar Club from Buenos Aires, Argentina sent their 1st XV rugby team on a tour of South Africa in February 2011. The team played rugby matches against local clubs in Pretoria and Cape Town. The group stayed in hotels and sightseeing included Sun City, Table Mountain, Cape Point, Hout Bay, Seal Island and Boulders Beach. The group also enjoyed a two-night stay at Bakgatla Resort in the Pilanesburg Game Reserve where they had the opportunity to encounter the Big 5 whilst on game drives.

PRIMROSE HILL CRICKET CLUB TOUR TO CAPE TOWN

Primrose Hill Cricket Club from London, UK sent their U12A cricket team on an exciting 13-day tour to Cape Town. Bundu Bashers Travel were commissioned to handle their fixture arrangements for their tour. They played a total of 7 matches against the following schools and cricket clubs: Belhar Cricket Club, Bridge House School, Western Province Prep School, Wynberg Boys Junior School, Rhenish Primary School, Rondebosch Boys Prep School, and Hermanus Primary School and came out with 5 wins in total. A good time was had by all!

WELLINGTON COLLEGE CRICKET TOUR TO SOUTH AFRICA

Wellington College from England sent their 1st XI cricket team on a tour to Cape Town, South Africa in February 2011. The group comprised of 13 boys and 3 staff members. The boys were hosted by various local schools during the course of their stay in Cape Town. They played fixtures against Bishops Diocesan College, Pinelands High School, Rondebosch Boys High School, Somerset College and Wynberg Boys High School. Sightseeing highlights included Table Mountain, Robben Island, Newlands Stadium and the V&A Waterfront.
