GERMAN YOUTH ORCHESTRA TOUR TO SOUTH AFRICA

The German Youth Orchestra visited South Africa in August 2012. The touring party consisted of 50 musicians who arrived on the 10th August. The orchestra started their tour in Johannesburg with a few performances at local schools and churches. They also enjoyed a visit to the Apartheid mueseum. The Mpumalanga leg of their trip saw them visiting the Kruger National Park , Bourkes Luck Potholes, God's Window and the Panorama route. The group performed in the Mpumalanga area before they departedSouth Africa on the 20th August.

Kingswood College Cricket Tour to Sri Lanka

Kingswood College from Port Elizabeth sent their cricket team on a 14 day tour to Sri Lanka. The tour included matches in Colombo, Kandy and Galle. Sightseeing included visits to the Lake District, Market Square and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic amongst others. Bundu Bashers Travel arranged all the flights, ground transport, accommodation, sightseeing as well as all 8 matches. 

St Alban's Cricket Tour to Sri Lanka

St Alban's College in Pretoria sent their cricket team on a 15 day tour of Sri Lanka. The tour began in Colombo with 5 matches, Kandy with 1 match and Galle with 2 matches. The boys had the opportunity to play some of their matches on historic, international grounds like Asgiriya in Kandy! Bundu Bashers Travel arranged all their flights, ground transport, accommodation, sightseeing and the cricket matches. Having been able to watch South Africa play Sri Lanka in a number of tests early this year, this tour was a really exciting one! The boys enjoyed a lot of cricket matches on tour, but also had the opportunity to see some of the beautiful sights and surroundings of Sri Lanka such as Hikkaduwa.

WHITGIFT SCHOOL GOLF TOUR SOUTH AFRICA IN AUGUST 2012

Whitgift School from the United Kingdom sent 4 students to South Africa in August 2012, to partake in the St John's International Schools Golf Tournament at Sun City. The group, accompanied by 2 staff members,  arrived at OR Tambo International Airport on Sunday the 5th. They then travel to Zebula Golf Estate where their accommodation was booked for two nights and included a game drive. On Tuesday the 7th August, they travelled to Sun City where they played in the Golf Tournament for 5 days. They departed for home on Sunday the 12th August from OR Tambo International Airport.
